The most common misconceptions about dyslexia revolve around people thinking that all dyslexic people read things backwards and that children with dyslexia are lazy and unmotivated. In reality many people with... dyslexia do not continue to write letters backwards beyond kindergarten. Children with dyslexia are not lazy or unmotivated they work very hard and usually get frustrated which then in turn leads to being unmotivated.
