An interesting and captivating interview with one of the survivors of the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster. Mike Williams tells his harrowing tale of escape from the burning oil rig in this 60-Minutes interview. This is part three of the story. It als...o has other people providing insights into what caused this explosion and how people ignored what was happening to the oil blowout protector. A good show for students about ethics as well as the issues regarding responsibility. Good insights. Students should take notes from what was said and who they think was responsible.

This video was made for Chevrolet Motor Division and called "From Dawn to Sunset." The video was made for people to see what man's new role was in factories. This video starts with a narrator talking about how men no longer have to be in the army, ...but can work in factories and the promise of new prosperity. Video then goes into the daily routine of a man waking up, eating breakfast, going to work in the factories, his job, and leaving work. Viewer should notice the homes, middle class, and the number of workers. Interesting video.

This film was produced by the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific (Rock Island) Railroad in 1950 to educate customers how their railroad operates and what services are offered as well as new innovations the railroad has incorporated. This film is a great ...capture of railroading at its finest with both steam and early diesel locomotive power shown. The Rock Island Railroad... Home of some of the fastest passenger trains in the US known as "The Rockets" that traveled up to 100mph out of Chicago. The 1950's looked promising for the railroad, but steadily the overall decline of both freight and passenger traffic by rail led to the decline of The Rock Island. Between 1975 and 1980, the Railroad went through three bankruptcies and finally ceased operations and was liquidated. (10:00)
