Closeup videography shows loggerhead turtles hatching from eggs laid on the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean coast. They crawl out of the sand toward the glimmering body of water and begin to swim. The newborn turtles swim for safety, avoiding predators b...y hiding. After 36 hours they arrive in deep water, where they can live well by eating jellyfish and lobster. Scientists have studied dead loggerhead turtles and found that the majority have starved to death after eating undigestible plastic trash that people have dropped into the ocean. A pleasant adult male voice narrates, using descriptive, child-friendly vocabulary; soundtrack includes some musical enhancement. Close-up videography of sea creatures; video does not mention that most loggerheads live on the coasts of Florida, US, which includes the Gulf of Mexico, or that they are also found on the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. In 2010 they are an endangered species.
