Understand the organizational processes of script development: basic idea, climactic order, cause to effect, dramatic structure.  Create scripts through improvising, writing, and refining scripts based on personal experience, heritage, imagination, literature, and history.  Determine factors to employ to influence perception of meaning and value in aesthetic response.  Investigate and apply the techniques of asides, soliloquis, allegory, symbol, mood, and metaphor to develop characters and plot.  Create theatre, film, television, or electronic media scripts in a variety of traditional and new forms that include original characters with unique dialogue that motivates action.
