This video demonstrates Montessori method for identifying numbers as even or odd. A teacher is shown putting numerals on a rug and then counters to represent the value of each number. In conclusion, the teacher shows how even numbers can be broken ...into even groups. Although the numbers and counters are difficult to see in parts of the video, this strategy would be helpful to show students to help them master the concept of odd and even numbers. Teachers could recreate the activity. ( 1:32)
