In this video, young students will learn how many important things are done at our house/home. Some of the lyrics include "when I go to bed, it's in our house, We eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our house, We work, sleep......etc. in our house, W...hen we get up in the morning it is in our house. So much of what we do happens in our house". This is a great teaching resource for young learners and/or special education students and work well in conjunction with a thematic unit on community, family, and/or life skills. This would be a useful resource to build background knowledge prior to reading a non-fiction/fiction story about homes. Students will enjoy this colorful, catchy video (2:29).
