This is a classic Sesame Street overview of common insects in your neighborhood by Ernie. He sings about caterpillars, butterflies, grasshoppers, crickets, ants, and bees. This is a good teaching resource for a thematic unit on insects and would work... well in conjunction with non-fiction texts on this topic. Young learners will enjoy watching this video and singing the catchy song. This video would compliment the Common Core K-1 Text Exemplar story Garden Helpers, National Geographic Young Explorers (2:48)
