If humans ever successfully colonize Mars, how would their biology change? An evolutionary biologist at Rice University and author of book "Future Humans: Inside the Science of Our Continuing Evolution," Scott Solomon, explains how humans might evolve on Mars and what significance that could have for humans left on Earth. In the last few years of Mars exploration, NASA researchers and other space agencies have made many amazing discoveries. One of the most amazing discoveries among them is probably the deep, dark hole located on Mars. To this day, there is no explanation for it. So what do we know so far about the black hole on Mars? On March 7, 2021 NASA’s Mars Rover Perseverance created incredible image of Mars’ Moon Deimos/Phobos (or other celestial body) moving near Sun in Mars’ sky. Latest pics from Mars are here to analyze what was that object in the sky of Red Planet. Mars has two small moons: Phobos and Deimos. Phobos (fear) and Deimos (panic). Phobos and Deimos were discovered in 1877 by American astronomer Asaph Hall. The moons appear to have surface materials similar to many asteroids in the outer asteroid belt, which leads most scientists to believe that Phobos and Deimos are captured asteroids. (03:33)

How long does it take to get from Earth to Mars? In this video, we travel to Mars. We look at how long it takes, and why it ends up taking so long. It turns out, the average mission to Mars takes around six to eight months to get from Earth to Mars. Why is a trip to Mars so long? We look at the orbital mechanics behind the planets, and breifly look at how engineers design different paths to send spacecraft on. An orbit to Mars is hard to design, but we look at some of the key concepts they have to consider when designing the mission. (06:39)

This panorama was created by stitching together 122 individual photos taken by NASA's Curiosity Mars rover on November 18, 2020, the mission's 2,946th Martian day, or sol. The panorama was created by the rover's Mast Camera, or Mastcam. Mastcam was designed and is run by Malin Space Science Systems in San Diego. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, a division of Caltech, designed the Curiosity rover and operates it for the agency's Science Mission Directorate in Washington. (03:56)

Mars is sometimes called the Red Planet and it's truly special. After the Earth, Mars is the most habitable planet in our Solar System. Is this why NASA chose Mars for investigation? It's the only planet we've sent rovers to explore and each mission costs billions of dollars! Let's take a look at what we've found on the Red Planet so far. (08:43)

Some believe Mars is calling humanity to our next home. But the real “red planet” is a trickster, strikingly beautiful yet sweetly sinister. Even as a growing armada of instruments arrives, this small cold world continues to conceal its secrets. Settlers beware; Mars may not be what you imagine. The technological means to cross space and bring this small world back to life is just now coming within our grasp. But Mars is likely to change Humanity as much as we change it. (49:44)

NASA's newest rover captured first-of-its-kind footage of its Feb. 18 touchdown on Mars. From the moment of parachute inflation, the camera system covers the entirety of the descent process, showing some of the rover’s intense ride to Mars’ Jezero Crater. The footage from high-definition cameras aboard the spacecraft starts 7 miles above the surface, showing the supersonic deployment of the most massive parachute ever sent to another world, and ends with the rover’s touchdown in the crater.
