The British Empire after World War II - The Commonwealth 4/5
From YouTube
This part of the documentary show civil war in Rhodesia and how civilians are involved. In 1980 Britain's Empire in Africa is over. Back in the 1960, the video shows how Caribbean people were called to England to work. However, there is resistance in society. They resent black immigrants. Most immigrants are offered poor jobs regardless of their training. Later, policies do not admit any more blacks. In the 1960s, Asian immigrants arrive. Again, there is resistance from the population. There is footage of the protests. (09:31)

Vietnam War 1
From YouTube
After WWII, USSR bewared of arms warfare against USA because their political viewpoints were dissimilar. America was not successful in educating the Vietnamese’ about Freedom. The lifestyles of two countries were too different - typical character of American culture is liberty, freedom, democracy; typical character of Vietnamese culture is ceremony, ritual, and conservative.  It was a civil war in Vietnam; they were just a combatant of the republic of South Vietnam. They called it Vietnamese war (war of Vietnamese).  It was a political war between communism and capitalism in Vietnam. (Amateur video of slides and Vietnamese music. Some photos may be distrubing.)

The Life of General George Thomas: Civil War Leader
From 5min
This video is about the biography of perhaps the most successful general of the Civil War, George H. Thomas, who never lost a battle, and who is little known today is discussed. Explained is the fact, unlike General Lee, he decided that nation was above state and Thomas worked for the Union.  This could be a good research project for students and, perhaps, a debate between Lee and Thomas and which one really did the most for the nation.

World War II: Important Battles
From watchmojo.com, produced by WatchMojo
World War II was a series of the bloodiest battles in history. Unparalleled civilian casualties, new weapons and tactics, as well as a new emphasis on air warfare helped make the Second World War so deadly. The Battle of the Atlantic raged almost the entire length of the war, while the Battle of Britain proved how important air warfare was. Fights for the Soviet cities of Stalingrad and Leningrad killed countless residents. Pearl Harbor drew the United States into the conflict, and the Battle of Berlin helped bring the Nazis down. In Part 5 of our series on WWII, WatchMojo.com learns about some of the most important battles of World War II. (4:22)

World War II: How Did It Start?
From watchmojo.com, produced by WatchMojo
In the years that followed World War I, tensions remained between countries due to differing ideologies and belief systems. Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party quickly rose to prominence and power, and began promoting intolerance towards certain marginalized groups, including the Jewish population. Nazi Germany had alliances with fascist Italy and Japan, and this grouping proved itself a deadly one. Meanwhile, the League of Nations and Allied countries initially acted passively in the face of this threat due to guilt from WWI. In Part 2 of our series on WWII, WatchMojo.com explores how and why the Second World War began. (3:08)
