This video offers the correct way to say the combination/blend of vowels plus the letter 'G' and the digraph 'GR'. (03:26) Each blend/combination is said once while the narrator pauses for you to repeat. (Perhaps the video might be better served if it showed an example of a word with the blend, rather than just the blend itself.)

This video teaches children how to take two separate sounds, the Short U sound, "u" as in "u-p" and Consonant sounds and blend the sounds together. The process of combining sounds is called blending.
Blending is taught by moving the Short U sound and the Consonant sound closer and closer together so that the child learn to say the sounds closer and closer together. There are advertisements at the beginning and end for First Step Reading. This is a great resource for the early childhood classroom to help build mastery of this important skill. (4:56)

Launched in 1992 at the urging of district employees with toddlers and preschoolers, the Deer Park child-care center occupies a tucked-away little world of two classrooms just off the high school's busy main hallway. This program, which blends quietly into school life, serves double duty, providing a learning laboratory for the high school students and a convenient child-care center for families of employees at Deerfield, its feeder elementary schools, and the community. Teenagers in Deerfield, Illinois, learn about and tend to young children in a unique day-care program. (03:09)

The Peringuey's adder lives in the hot, dry Namib Desert. See how it travels across the burning sand and captures food. In this video, the shovel snouted snake lets heat escape through its lifted feet. Water is a precious commodity. The side winding snake travels across the sand. The snake blends into the sand as it burrows. An unsuspecting lizard becomes lunch for the snake. This is a great teaching resource for elementary/middle school students. It would work well in conjunction with a science lesson on reptiles and/or deserts. This video also helps to build background knowledge (1:59).
