Healing in Ancient Greece
From howstuffworks.com, produced by Science Channel
This 1:34 video explains the Greek sanctuaries that
honor Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and how
performing at the theater were ways the Greeks believed improved their health. This would make a good video for explaining how that being able to express yourself is believed to be helpful as well as a good video to show how health was a such concern to the Greeks. Would be a nice contrast/compare to television commercials for health products.

A Brief History of Mosaic Art
From YouTube
"'Decoration with small square stones'...the root of "mosaic" is the Medieval Latin "musaicum," meaning "work of the Muses,". Mosaics first appear in the eastern world, and can be traced to Chaldea, Syria and Byzantium. Mosaics are often associated with Roman and Greek homes and sacred art. This slideshow begins displaying columns from Chaldean architecture, dated from 2,000 BC, followed by Mosaic motif panels found in UR; thought to be the earliest known manifestation of mosaic. The images progress to the present day, demonstrating our fascination with this art form, the endless ideas, inspiration and uses for mosaic art throughout the ages". ~ the mosaic project 2009  (02:42)
