Facts About Krakatoa's Volcano 1883 Eruption - Geology
From youtube.com, produced by Science Nature Space
The 1883 eruption of Krakatoa in the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) began in the afternoon of August 26, 1883 (with origins as early as May of that year), and culminated with several destructive eruptions of the remaining caldera. On August 27, two-thirds of Krakatoa collapsed in a chain of titanic explosions, destroying most of the island and its surrounding archipelago. Additional alleged seismic activity continued to be reported until February 1884, though reports of those after October 1883 were later dismissed by Rogier Verbeek's investigation. It was one of the Worst and most destructive volcanic events in recorded history, Significant additional effects were also felt around the world.

In the years before the 1883 eruption, seismic activity around the volcano was intense, with earthquakes felt as far away as Australia. Beginning 20 May 1883, steam venting began to occur regularly from Perboewatan, the northernmost of the island's three cones. Eruptions of ash reached an estimated altitude of 6 km (20,000 ft) and explosions could be heard in New Batavia (Jakarta) 160 km (99 mi) away. (03:28)

(9/12)Battlefield: The Battle for Russia
From YouTube, produced by Battletfield Chronicles
This fast paced episode of "Battlefield" chronicles the titanic war in the east, that eventually decided World War II in Europe. Despite numerous warnings from the Communist spy networks: the Lucy Spy-Ring the Red Orchestra Richard Sorge, and pleadings from Churchill and FDR, through ultra decrypts, Stalin discounted all invasion warnings. Stalin felt that all these alarming reports was actually an attempt to divide agreements between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, by the British and Americans. The Soviet Union shipped supplies ahead of schedule to Nazi Germany. The people of the Soviet Union and Stalin were completely dumbfounded when the Germans invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. HMHS BRITANNIC SINKS - REAL TIME Documentary
From YouTube, produced by Titanic: Honor And Glory
If you wish, skip to 0:05:00 for the beginning of the sinking. This documentary was created for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of HMHS Britannic, sister ship of the infamous RMS Titanic, in November 2016. This full-length animation of the Britannic sinking, beginning with the impact of the mine and ending with her sinking, is in real time. This is a complete animation; not a short animation that was slowed down to match real time. This is also highly accurate as the team has contacted many well noted Britannic and Titanic historians for their input and resources on this project. (01:03:01)
