Video discusses how Italians coming to America were faced with obstacles, prejudice, and legal inequalities, but were helped by groups and organizations.  In southern Italy, there was little potential for families to make money, most worked in farming or agriculture.  World War I began the greatest wave of immigrants.  Video discusses how Italians had to go through immigration and answer questions.  Groups and organizations helped many Italians.  In World War I an organization was created, it was called the Boston Foundation.  It helped poor Italian immigrants or any Italians that were in the poverty level.  Italian immigrants had many prejudice and legal inequalities to pass, these include poor jobs and troubles becoming a citizen.  Video is of good quality and is for middle school or high school students.
