Mrs. Thorp, a retired third-grade classroom teacher, shows how to teach your child the important skill of making change.  She uses a number chart, 1 – 100, with the numbers 25, 50, 75 (representing quarters) colored yellow, the numbers ending in 5 and 0 (representing nickels and dimes) are colored red, and all other numbers are colored blue.  This is a good learning tool or alternative way to teach counting back change.
