Kid reporter Hannah Spicijaric interviews Lois Lowry. In this interview Hannah asks about her new book "THE WILLOUGHBYS", Where did you get the idea for such a funny book? She explains the idea came from books she read when she was younger. She loved to read. Lowry says she really pictured herself as an author for adults, but a children's book editor contacted her and asked her to write a book for young people. She continued to write for both audiences for awhile, however she found that young people contacted her and seemed to enjoy her writing more. Hannah asks her some other questions about the other books she has written also. (8:16)
